2.1.- 9.1 Bio MARIA NITSCHE in Dresden geboren, erhielt ihre Tanzausbildung an der Palucca Schule Dresden und dem Königlichen Konservatorium Den Haag. In der Zeit von 1996-2002 folgten Engagements an den Staatstheatern Saarbrücken, Nürnberg und Oldenburg, wo sie u.a. in Choreographien von William Forsythe, Jo Stromgren, Lionel Hoche, Nicolo Fonte, Martin Stiefermann, Birgit Scherzer und Daniela Kurz tanzte. Von 2002-2008 war Maria Nitsche als freischaffende Tänzerin tätig und arbeitete mit freien Kompanien u.a. in Zürich, Basel, Paris, Berlin, Rotterdam, Bonn und Freiburg. Im März 2010 beendete Maria ein zweijähriges Meisterklassenstudium für Tanzpädagogik an der Palucca Schule. Seit September 2013 arbeitet Maria als freie Trainingsleiterin, choreografische Assistentin, Probenleitern und Tänzerin. Class Description This Ballet Class should encourage the dancers to look beyond the shapes of a Ballet class, to not only move from position to position but exploring and researching on how to connect the known ballet vocabulary through using breath, different dynamics, phrasing, opposition, momentum, gravity, coordination, suspension, fall, recovery and other known movement principles. The integration of a correct skeletal alignment will give the dancers the opportunity to work in a very honest way with their true individual anatomical facilities. This might help them to become aware of already established movement patterns and to neutralize them again. The aim of the class is to not copy a shape but to experience the shape as a result of energy, keep the body constantly in motion and enjoy dancing.
