The Hamburg Geekettes together with AppCamps (www.appcamps.de) present the second "App Camp for Ladies" hosted by Thoughtworks Germany on April 12th! Anyone who is interested in learning basic coding skills in order to build a fully functional Android app is welcome to join. This event is also a great preparation for Geekettes who would like to attend our Hackathon on June 7th and 8th. Learn the basics in this workshop and build your own product during the Hackathon in June. Believe us - this is possible! When? // April, 12th 11am - 4pm. If you know how to code, that's great too! What to bring? // Your laptop. FAQs 1: Do I need an Android phone to participate? No. We will have a few devices for you to test your apps. And you will be able to use an emulator. 2: Do I need to have coding skills? No. This course is for absolute beginners.If you have coding skills, this event is also great for you! 3: I am new to the Hamburg Geekettes. Am I allowed to participate? Yes, of course. We are happy to have you on board! 4: Why do I have to apply? Space is limited. We want to have a diverse group of people with different levels of experience.
