IT'S ON ! The Mt Shasta Eclipse Concert, May 20, 2012., 12 noon-8pm at Hoy Park in Lake Shastina... THIS IS A FREE CONCERT !!! GOT THE PERMIT TODAY ! All interested bands send a YouTube clip or mellow mp3... Sorry, heavy metal, really hard rock and hip-hop/rap need not apply... looking for smooth, cosmic, mellow & spiritual (not religious) sounds for this once-in-a-lifetime celestial event. Wanna sponsor the Concert of the Year ? Looking for sponsors... Vendors ? Set up a booth...tie-dyes, jewelery, solar panels & windmills, psychic palm readers (are there any other kind ?)... contact me for rates. The eclipse starts around 5pm, totality (95%) from 6:23 to 6:28, ends around 8pm. Hope to have 9 or 10 musical acts, dancers and ???... Bring the family, some lawn chairs or blankets (and sunscreen). Looking for collaboration with all musicians, vendors, sponsors to make this a groovy "love-in", cosmic astronomical/astrological event, a celebration of peace, love, music and Mt Shasta.... Hell, just a great PARTY ! Got any fundraising ideas ? Hope to raise funds to build an outdoor stage/amphitheater in Weed, Lake Shastina or Mt Shasta, where local and visiting musicians and theater groups can perform... It's gonna be a party...
