What is the best food to feed your pet? From commercially available foods to foods that are home prepared, holistic veterinarian Alisa Koenig DVM will discuss and review current concepts and strategies for canine, feline and even equine nutrition and the best ways to achieve them. Special topics will include what to feed the allergic animal and yes or no to raw food, and how to read per food labels. Alisa Koenig, DVM, has been a solo holistic veterinarian in the Western New York area since 1997. She treats dogs, cats, horses, and other animals both in a clinic setting and on the road. Areas of special interest include Veterinary Western and Chinese Herbology and Chinese Acupuncture, Veterinary Homeopathy, Postural Rehabilitation, Nutrition, Cold Laser Therapy, Spinal Manipulation Therapy, and Reiki.
