Details

As members of First Baptist Church in Port Huron, MI, we continue to pray and want to help our selfless Pastor, Dan Bakay, and his wife, Patti, get through one of the most devastating times of their lives. Pastor Dan Bakay was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and their lives have been turned upside down in a whirlwind fashion since. He was admitted to the hospital almost immediately and underwent 7 days of Induction Chemotherapy that first week. Since then, through God’s strength and guidance, the priority has been to conquer the side effects one day at a time. He has been admitted to the hospital multiple times already and has been added to the Bone Marrow Transplant Registry. Hopefully, a compatible donor will be found. We understand that this will be a long process. The medical expenses from co-pays, etc. are a financial burden that is escalating daily. Please help provide encouragement and hope with your prayers and any donation (non tax-deductible) you are able to give. All funds will go directly to them to assist with medical expenses. If you would like to follow Dan's journey you can logon to caringbridge.org and type Dan Bakay in search box. May God bless you. Concert tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased at First Baptist Church in Port Huron (1814 Sanborn) or by contacting Don Beauparland at [email protected] or by sending check with self addressed stamped envelope to: Don Beauparland; 3192 Krafft Rd; Fort Gratiot, MI 48059 If you are unable to attend the concert but would like to make a donation to help cover Pastor Dan's medical expenses, you may do so at: https://www.gofundme.com/27v5gfg
