(Rotterdam, sept. 2012) Het Nieuw Internationaal Symfonie Orkest (NISO) kondigt met trots aan dat het op vrijdag 19 oktober, aanvang 20.15, uur werken van Ravel en Sibelius zal uitvoeren in de aula van de Erasmus Universiteit van Rotterdam. (Burg. Oudlaan 50, Gebouw A, Rotterdam) Het NISO is een orkest, samengesteld uit jonge talentvolle professionals en studenten uit vele verschillende landen, die hun muzikale opleiding aan diverse Nederlandse conservatoria hebben afgerond. De leden van het orkest komen nu voor het eerst bijeen ter gelegenheid van het Codarts finale master examen van dirigent Roberto Bautista Rangel. Het betekent dus het debuut van dit orkest in Nederland. Het doel is om het publiek mee te nemen in hun frisse en vooruitziende visie op klassieke muziek Onder de leiding van Roberto Bautista Rangel en met medewerking van violist Eduardo Paredes Crespo zal het orkest het volgende repertoire uitvoeren: * Pavane, pour une infante défunte ( M. Ravel ) * Tzigane, rapsodie voor viool en orkest ( M. Ravel ) * Derde Symfonie in C, op. 53 ( J. Sibelius ) * Sevilla, uit de Suite Iberia voor piano ( I. Albeniz-arr. R. F. de Burgos ) Het concert zal worden uitgevoerd zonder pauze. De toegang is gratis, hoewel de leden van het orkest het publiek willen stimuleren om een gift over te maken aan de S.E.H.K. The members of the orchestra are now gathering for the first time on the occasion of the Codarts final master exam of conductor Roberto Bautista Rangel. This will be the orchestra’s debut in The Netherlands. The objective is to connect with the audience with a fresh and forward vision of classical music. Under the baton of Roberto Bautista Rangel and with the collaboration of the violinist Eduardo Paredes Crespo the orchestra will perform the following repertoire: Pavane pour une infante défunte (M. Ravel) Tzigane, rhapsodie for violin and orchestra (M. Ravel) 3rd Symphony in C, op. 53 (J. Sibelius) Sevilla, from the Suite Ibera for piano (I. Albéniz – arr. R.
