CALLING ALL ENTREPRENEURS! DO YOU HAVE A CREATIVE IDEA OR PRODUCT? DO YOU NEED CAPITAL TO MOVE IT FORWARD? If so, then FreshTracks Road Pitch may be the solution. Entrepreneurs with creative, demonstrably scalable ideas are invited to submit an application to be in front of potential investors. Locally, up to 5 entrepreneurs will be selected from the applicant pool. Finalists will be provided the opportunity to “pitch” their products to the investors. Funding will only be awarded for project development, design and implementation to bring it to market, not administrative costs or overhead. If so, then FreshTracks Road Pitch may be the solution. The potential funders will decide which if any of the proposals are worth investing in. In addition to the potential to line up funding for projects, $1,000.00 and a Vermont Teddy Bear “Biker Bear” will be awarded for the best presentation. The best presenters will also be entered for a $4,000.00 “Grand Prize” to be awarded to the state-wide winner in October. Applications are now being accepted for the Central Vermont Road Pitch. Applications will be accepted up until June 15, 2016 at 5:00pm. All applications must be submitted on-line.
