>>48 HOURS TSAREV GRAD FILM CHALLENGE<< Supported by “The Culture and Arts Program” of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality Are you ready for some filmmaking challenge? If you are a professional filmmaker or maybe a film geek or just want to have some fun, while making movies with your friends, this is for you! By participating in this competition, you will become part of 14th IN THE PALACE Veliko Tarnovo International Short Film Festival, Bulgaria. It is an unique possibility to show your creativity and share your ideas on screen. And the best thing is YOU DO NOT NEED ANY PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR THAT. Participants can use whatever kind of film cameras, phones, Ipads – everything is allowed. 48 hours Tsarev Grad Film Challenge is an open call and invitation for professional and non-professional film creators, amateurs that within 48 hours frame will shoot a short film (duration up to 5 minutes) related with Veliko Tarnovo city. The challenge will be held from the 5th till the 7th of May. The genre of the film, keywords and locations will be drawn by lottery and officially announced at 18:30 at TAM (https://web.facebook.com/TAMVELIKOTARNOVO/). If you accept the challenge, create a team of up to 6 people – director, producer, cinematographer, sound, lights and editor (can be less – not more though). The teams interested in participating in the competition have to register themselves by e-mail in the following address: [email protected]. You will find all the documents in this page. The submitted films that had completed the Challenge will be screened during 14th IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival on Sunday 7th May, 21:00, at TAM, Veliko Tarnovo. During the screening the audience will vote their favourite. After the 14th edition of the festival in Veliko Tarnovo, on 9th of May all the films will be open for public voting in the IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival Youtube channel. The entries should be shared with the hashtag #inthepalace. The film that receives more likes on Youtube (the votes gained during the screening count as likes), will win the Challenge. The prize for the winner will be a VIP accreditation for 14th IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival’s big final (24.06. – 01.07.2017) that will take place in the former residence of the Romanian queen Marie of Edinburgh in the picturesque town on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast Balchik. The VIP accreditation includes free access to all festival activities, accomodation and food for all the team members. Don’t waste your time and join this unforgettable adventure!
