Dearest People Its been a long time coming but I am finally launching my 4 track EP titled "Spine" on The 11th of September at the Brunswick Neighbourhood house. You are all welcome to attend and help celebrate this wonderful evening music. This small collection of my songs has been recorded, mixed and produced by my good friend and brother Jamil Zacharia- You have put many hours into my music and I am eternally greatful for all your TLC and creativity that shines through on the tracks. It will be an early evening Kicking of with Danika Smith at 5pm, Tulalah (acoustic set) at 6pm followed by the Imogen Pemberton band at 7pm. Please read below for band Bio's and Links Imogen Pemberton Hailing from a small beach town on the North-Coast of New South Wales, Imogen Pemberton's music portrays a clear blue sky and the wisdom and calm contentedness of an old soul living by the ocean. This elegant, enchanting performer has captured many souls and has added to the ensemble, producer/guitarist; Jamil Zacharia, 2 backing vocalists (singer/songwriters Emma Ovenden and Danika Smith) and percussion. Whilst staying true to her own unique voice, elements of Folk,Soul and electronic soundscape can be heard in her music. Together the ensemble captures time, with rich vocal harmonies that compliment Imogen’s broad vocal range. Melodies soar with weaving guitar lines that accompany lyrics about childhood,vulnerability and Universal issues that reach you on a personal level. In September Imogen will be releasing her debut EP ‘Spine which reveals her unique voice and style intertwining elements of Folk, Soul and electronic soundscape. Imogen captures time with her melodies, weaving guitar lines and personal insights that take you to a deeper place. Her music is also infectiously uplifting. This release sets this Melbourne songstress apart and places her as one to watch as an emerging singer and songwriter.
