FAB-gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Personal Baggage, a solo exhibition of new sculptures and works on paper by Los Angeles-based artist Mark x Farina. This is the artist’s first solo exhibition with FAB-gallery and introduces thesis work for Mark's graduate degree in Public Practice from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Personal Baggage will feature various concepts that revolve around the value of art, recycling, forgery, fake objects and ultimately class. At its core this is a Pop Art collection of mixed media paintings and sculptures made out of re purposed consumer materials that explores the realms of the environmental impacts of everyday choices like, paper or plastic.
