WHAT’S ALL THE STOMPIN’ AND HOLLERIN’ ABOUT? Stomp ‘n’ Holler BBQ & Music Festival where folks from all over come to get touched by what we know around here as the “religion of barbecue.” You’ll get to try smoke-kissed samples from 10–12 of the state’s most revered pitmasters, and revel in the charismatic power of live music and ice cold craft beer. And if that doesn’t have you ready to kick up your heels and make a little noise, nothin’ will. Here in the heart of the Texas Barbecue Trail, we’re pretty sure we do barbecue better than any place else on earth. If you’re not a believer before the festival, you’ll be converted by the time you leave. — 02. WHO’S SMOKIN’ WHAT? Click here to see a list of the pitmasters participating in the festival. Each of the talented individuals on this list are masters at the art of barbecue — and have a devout following to prove it. — 03. WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST? Well, that depends. We have five exciting levels of tickets to choose from, so you can be as festive as you want. But regardless of which level you choose, every ticket includes a heck-of-a-lotta fun. Closet Vegetarian (Concert Only) $35We won’t tell if you don’t. This level will get you into the concert only. We’re pretty confident once the aroma hits you, you’ll wish you hadn’t passed on the BBQ. So, no whining if you change your mind. Combo Platter (General Admission + Concert) $65This ticket gets you a generous serving of BBQ (about a two-ounce sample from each of our 10–12 participating pitmasters and their associated restaurants) and all the live music you can handle. Holy Smoker (VIP) $100Being a Holy Smoker means you’ll get the full VIP treatment. Not only will you enjoy the best BBQ you’ve ever tasted, but you’ll get to start an hour earlier than regular ticket holders with early admission. And if that weren’t enough to tempt you, upon arrival you’ll also receive a fabulous limited-edition Stomp ’n’ Holler 2017 t-shirt, coupons for two free beverages (code for beer), and access to the VIP area and standing room only section in front of the stage for the concert. Looking for an even tastier experience? We have a few off-the-menu options that will indulge your love for barbecue and lift your spirits to a whole new level. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for, so these come with a higher pricetag... but totally worth it. Email us at [email protected] to find out more on these exclusive opportunities. — 04. CAN I COME AND GO FROM THE FESTIVAL? Sure. As long as you are still wearing the wristband that will be given to you when you first enter the festival. No wristband, no re-entry. — 10. DO I NEED CASH? It’s probably a good idea to bring some. While many vendors may accept credit/debit cards, it is up to their discretion, and the festival will have numerous vendor booths selling merchandise, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages and more. But there’s an ATM across the street just in case. — 11. HOW WILL BEER SALES WORK? If you want to purchase beer at the festival, you’ll need to purchase beer tickets. There will be several locations where tickets can be purchased. Beer tickets are redeemable at the bar for well... beer. — 12. HOW MUCH ARE BEER TICKETS? Beer tickets are $4. One ticket = one beer. Seriously, $4 for a beer! And not just any beer. A really good beer. And the math is easy. (You’ll probably want to bring some cash to purchase water.) — 13. HOW MUCH IS PARKING, AND WHERE SHOULD I PARK? Our VIP ticket holders will get the lots closest to the venue. We’ll also have free shuttles running to and from the following locations: Taylor High School, 355 FM 973, Taylor, Texas 76574 Taylor Middle School, 304 Carlos G. Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, Texas 76574 Taylor Main Street Intermediate, 3101 N. Main Street, Taylor, Texas 76574 The old WalMart building, 2705 N. Main Street, Taylor, Texas 76574 No matter where you park in town, you assume all risk and responsibility. — 14. CAN WE BRING LAWN CHAIRS, BLANKETS, ETC.? Sure! Just keep in mind that the concerts will be very crowded and it’s likely that most people will find it impossible to stay seated during the awesome performances. We can’t guarantee that you will be able to see the stage once the show starts — and you’ll still have to lug those chairs around all night. NOTE: NO lawn chairs will be allowed in the VIP area directly in front of the stage. This area is standing room only, no exceptions. VIP ticket-holders have paid for the privilege to stand, dance and otherwise revel in the music — if they so choose. A VIP seating area will also be available. — 15. WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE TO CONCERT-ONLY TICKET HOLDERS (AKA CLOSET VEGETARIANS)? Participating restaurants can sell additional food items if they wish but we cannot guarantee that food will be available at any given time. Pricing is up to the restaurants, and whether they accept cash, credit or debit cards. An ATM is just across the street should you get desperate. — 16. WHAT CAN I NOT BRING? Sorry but no outside food or drinks will be allowed inside the gate. So, don’t show up with your cooler and hope you’ll get lucky. No weapons, of course, and no non-service-animal pets — unless you want them to be barbecued. — 17. WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Well, it goes without saying that you should bring a hearty appetite for BBQ and fun. Also, keep in mind it’s summer in Texas. So, we suggest some sunscreen with a high SPF and a nice pair of shades. And be sure to bring your ID and tickets! — 18. CAN WE BRING THE KIDS? Sure! As long as you take them back home. Kids 3 and under are free. — 19. DO YOU CHECK IDS? Yep. Count on it. Please come prepared to show yours. Since alcohol will be served at this event, it’s the best way to keep everyone safe. All festival-goers will be asked to show identification at the front gate and the beer ticket tents. All minors will be given a special wristband and hand stamped. Don’t worry. Those 21 or older will get a special wrist band, too. Any person seen partaking of alcohol and not wearing a wristband will find themselves exiting the festival immediately via security escort. So, don’t take them off. Please note that bartenders can — and will — ask to double-check your ID in addition to asking to see your wristband. — 20. DO YOU HAVE SPONSORSHIPS AND/OR VENDOR BOOTHS OPPORTUNITIES? Absolutely! And we’d love to tell you about them. Just email us at [email protected] with "vendor info" in the subject line and we’ll get right back to you. Click here to download a vendor application. — 21. WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY? If you don’t want to come rain or shine, don’t buy a ticket. Otherwise, if you can’t come, give your ticket to someone who can. There will be no refunds. — 22. DO YOU HAVE A PHOTO POLICY? If you want to bring your camera or smart phone and take some pictures, click away! But just know we’ll snapping a few as well for publicity purposes. If you purchase a ticket, you’re basically saying “cheese” and agreeing that you’re OK with possibly ending up on our marketing materials.
