This walk is a public event raising awareness for an organization called Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis . Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is considered to be a chronic, progressive and often debilitating neurological disease which leaves little hope to the person affected. Medical Professor George Jelinek who himself was diagnosed with MS a number of years ago, lives an abundant relapse free life as a result of diet and lifestyle changes. Both George and event coordinator Elizabeth Schefferle are living proof of what diet and lifestyle changes can do and as a result both will be taking part in Ballarat's second OMS Walk in 2015. We want to inspire and give hope back to others living with MS. Come show your support and join in by walking, running, jogging or riding the 6km (one lap) or 12km (two laps) of Lake Wendouree.
