On February 14, 15, 21 & 22, guests can experience the culture of Native Americans during pioneer days at a special Indian Village set up on-premises at the train station. Demonstrations of dance, food preparations, blacksmithing and other cultural highlights will go on throughout the day plus lasso and crack whip expositions by the cowboys. Two SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) groups comprise the cowboys who will board the train and regale passengers with tales of the Wild West. At the Midway point, a re-enactment of the shootout at OK Corral will take place with lots of action and gunfire.. Tickets must be purchased at www.stmarysrailroad.com, or by calling 912-200-5235.
