To sign up for a volunteer shift, head to https://2014lactationstation.eventbrite.com The Indiana WIC Lactation Station provides a clean, comfortable place for breastfeeding moms and families at the Indiana State Fair. With rocking chairs, cold water, and welcoming volunteers, the Lactation Station serves as a refuge from the hot August sun where moms and families can provide their infants with the best nutrition and support possible. The Indiana State Fair runs 12 hours per day (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 17. The Lactation Station project is being exclusively sponsored by the amazing support of Indiana WIC and the Indiana State Department of Health.
