Fata Morgana Bellydance proudly welcomes you to the first-ever, all-Virginia bellydance event, RED CLAY RAQS, March 2,3, and 4, 2012.

Born of our desire to make a phenomenal event available without traveling out-of-state and to display a thorough cross-section of what we've got to offer right here at home, Red Clay Raqs incorporates an all-star crew of spectacular performers and instructors from across VA and DC. Headed by Madame Onca O'Leary, our awesome guests will be bringing their talents, skills, knowledge and extreme dedication to the table as the finest collection of teachers in, we believe, any single state. How lucky are we?

Friday's opening gala performance will showcase a selection of performers from across the state; if you or your group (groups particularly encouraged!) are interested in performing on Friday evening, send bio and current video clip of relevant performers to info@fatamorganabellydance.com AFTER registering. Because of the volume of dancers, only workshop attendees will be considered for the Friday show.

Saturday's super-special spectacular show (like the alliteration?) will feature our incredible instructors. Does more NEED to be said? Just look at the lineup!

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend; but all instructors and performers will be natives or current residents of VA. This is not to exclude our amazing friends and colleagues across the nation and overseas; but rather, as stated, to present something awesome close to home, and show you how cool Virginia really is.
