Join us for a night of dancing, socializing, and revelry in celebration of the completion of our spring fundraising campaign. The Wayfaring Band is hosting a Rockabilly Roadhouse dance, and you don't want to miss it! The festivities will be held upstairs in the Dance Hall at the iconic Mercury Cafe in downtown Denver. Activities include a free dance lesson starting at 6:30pm, performances by champion dancers, door prizes, a temporary tattoo parlor, and a lip-smackin' sampling of delicious food and drink. There will also be a cash bar, and there is a full restaurant downstairs. This event will be fun for all ages, so bring the whole family! And don't forget to dress to impress: rockabilly style is more Pink Ladies than Sandra Dee, so bring your attitude. The cost of this sock-rockin' shindig will be $10 per person at the door. All ticket proceeds benefit The Wayfaring Band, providing road trips and social programs to young adults with special needs and emerging thought leaders. Although we like to rock, we are not a rock-and-roll band. We are a wayfaring band, which means we are a group of people who travel together. The Mercury Cafe is fully accessible (there is an elevator available for guests who use wheelchairs). Also, this will be a fully inclusive event: people of every cognitive and physical experience are encouraged to attend. Be there or be square, Daddy-o!
