Tο «Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου της Κύπρου» γιορτάζει την ενδέκατη επέτειο και παρουσιάζει ένα ενδιαφέρον πρόγραμμα προβολών στην Πάφο τις ημερομηνίες 14- 25 Σεπτεμβρίου 2016. Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει 100 ταινίες μικρού και μεγάλου μήκους πρόσφατης παραγωγής, που προέρχονται από 33 χώρες, και διαγωνίζονται για τα βραβεία «Χρυσή Αφροδίτη». Η τελετή για τα βραβεία «Χρυσή Αφροδίτη» θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Τεχνόπολις 20, την Κυριακή 25 Σεπτεμβρίου με ελεύθερη είσοδο, όπου θα προβληθούν και οι βραβευμένες ταινίες. Η VIP κριτική επιτροπή αποτελείται -μεταξύ άλλων δημιουργών- από τους παραγωγούς Vivek Singhania από την Ινδία και τον George F. Roberson από τις ΗΠΑ, καθώς και τον Διευθυντή Φωτογραφίας Bill Butler (Jaws, Rocky, Grease, Νονός κλπ). Επίσης, οι σινεφίλ που ενδιαφέρονται να συμμετάσχουν στην ανεξάρτητη επιτροπή στην Πάφο μπορούν να στείλουν email στο [email protected] ή να τηλεφωνήσουν στο 99798112. Οι προβολές θα γίνουν στο Κ- Cineplex στο Kings Avenue Mall και στο Αμφιθέατρο του Πανεπιστημίου Νεάπολις. Όλα τα έσοδα από τις πωλήσεις του Box Office θα δοθούν σε φιλανθρωπική οργάνωση στην Πάφο. Επιπρόσθετα, τα πάρτυ έναρξης και τέλους του Φεστιβάλ θα πραγματοποιηθούν στο Suite 48, στις 14 και στις 24 Σεπτεμβρίου. The program includes 100 short and feature films of recent production coming from 33 countries, competing for the “Golden Aphrodite” awards! The Golden Aphrodite Awards ceremony will be held in Technopolis 20 on Sunday, 25th of September with free entrance with the screening of the awarded films. The VIP jury is constituted -among other filmmakers- by the producers Vivek Singhania from India and George F Roberson from the USA as well as the director of photography Bill Butler (Jaws, Rocky, Grease, Godfather etc). The screenings will take place at the K-Cineplex in Kings Avenue Mall and the Amphitheatre of the Neapolis Unversity.
