19th of July 2013, 5pm Dear Friends, Come and celebrate the visit of „This Red Door“ at REH Kunst on the 19th of July starting from 5pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the day with refreshing drinks and delicious food in the presence of friends and the project of "This Red Door" “This Red Door” is a collaborative attempt by artists Jomar Statkun, Jared Friedman, and Christopher Stackhouse to expand terms and conditions that may define ‘studio practice’. Everyday will give the chance to encounter something new and unexpected! Throughout the two summer months, through daily events, This Red Door becomes a discursive space where they integrate an address to the plastic arts through a salon styled rotation of objects, tandem lectures, informal talks, literary readings, film/video screenings, short plays, music, dinner parties, among other kinds of impromptu gatherings and aleatory occurrences. They are open daily (when the door is open on the front page of their website) and everyone is welcome to visit whether there is a "scheduled event" or not. The "scheduled" events are announced daily on Facebook (This Red Door) and the website (www.thisreddoor.com). ---------------------------------------------- 19. Juli 2013, 17:00 Liebe Freunde, feiert am Freitag, den 19. Juli ab 17:00 gemeinsam mit REH Kunst den Besuch von „This Red Door“. Groß und Klein sind herzlich eingeladen bei erfrischenden Getränken und herzhaften Leckereien den Sommertag unter Kunstfreunden zu genießen. Das amerikanische Künstlerkollektiv “This Red Door” untersucht und erweitert in ihrem Projekt die Begriffe und Bedingungen des Ateliers, indem sie eine offene Bühne für spontan geplante Veranstaltungen, Ausstellungen und Diskussionen schaffen. Noch bis zum 31. August verwandeln sie die Raumerweiterungshalle in ein dynamisches Forum für kreativen Austausch und kritischen Auseinandersetzungen. Jeder Tag bringt etwas Neues und Unvorhersehbares! So finden beispielsweise spontane Einzelausstellungen statt, Lesungen, Konzerte, Dinnerparties, Filmvorführungen, Performances und mehr.
