Accueilli dans le cadre d’un projet du groupe de théâtre Projet MÛ, ils invitent le grand public à les rencontrer dans le cadre de leur projet de recherche de création Mémoire migrante, mémoire vivante. ***Samedi 7 février, 15h à 17h*** Un atelier intergénérationnel, ouvert à tous les âges! Contes & Migration - L’immigration a beaucoup de raisons et de causes. Nos histoire personnelles sont interreliés aux déterminations structurales permettant le déplacement de biens et de capital global. Cet atelier animera les voix qui parlent des origines et motifs pour aller à la recherche d’un futur possible à d’autres endroits. Dans un premier temps, il y aura une courte performance avec marionettes se basant sur le conte LA PARTIDA (Le départ). Celle-ci se suivra par une discussion-échange avec le public. Puis nous passerons à une activité intéractive autour d'un projet en cours, LE RÉSEAU DE L'IMMIGRATION, un regard porté sur nos déplacements dans la ville de Montréal et les histoires de migration qui nous accompagnent. Avec animation par Mireya Bayancela, Patrick Landry, Manuel Salamanca, et Koby Rogers Hall. Une journée d’échange, un atelier de conte, le partage de nos histoires de déplacement – de part et d’autre de la ville de Montréal, de part et d’autre de ce continent. *** Unit 138 at the Plaza Côte-des-Neiges is housing The IWC Artists' Bloc as part of Projet MÛ's project Art à la PLAZA Côte-des-Neiges! All are welcome to join us in building this research creation project around Migrant Memory, Living Memory. ***Saturday February 7th, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.*** An intergenerational workshop, open to all ages! Stories & Migration - Immigration knows many causes and effects. Our personal stories are intermixed with structural factors allowing for the transfer of goods and global capital. This workshop will facilitate voices that speak of the origins and reasons for seeking out a possible future in other places. We will start with a short performance with puppets based on the fairytale LA PARTIDA (The departure). This will be followed by a discussion-exchange with the public. Then we will share an interactive activity around a current project, THE NETWORK OF IMMIGRATION, bringing our attention to our movements in the city of Montreal and the stories of migration that follow us. With facilitation by Mireya Bayancela, Patrick Landry, Manuel Salamanca, and Koby Rogers Hall. A day for exchange, a storytelling workshop, the sharing of stories of migration – across the city of Montreal, and across this continent.
