"Protecting our Hawai‘i as One" by the Hawaii Conservation Alliance This year's 20th annual Hawaii Conservation Conference will feature an epic, free community event with interactive art, music, film and food! August 1, 2012 from 3 – 8pm at the Hawaii Convention Center Featuring music by Anuhea & Kawika Kahiapo with Maori guest artist Maisey Rika Living art & collaborative mural with artist Wyland Locally sourced food & drink (open cash bar) Pop-up art exhibition by Maoli Art in Real Time Traditional native hawaiian artisans of “Aupuni Place” Reunion & renewal of the Hawai‘i Kakou mural project + creative artmaking Conservation film series by Knowledge in Motion Poster sessions to hear the latest in cutting edge Conservation research Talk story with 40+ green market exhibitors, vendors & green organizations Public Forums about Energy Conservation & Integrating Environmental Education with Culture Bring family, meet new friends, talk story, enjoy inspiration, & envision our future.
