Confirmed Speakers Dr David Grossber, Dr Kevin Todes, and Dr Alex Kalos Dr David Grossberg David Grossberg has been working in Sydney as a Specialist Periodontist since 1987. His special interests are in esthetic implant dentristy and treatment of patients with advanced Periodontal disease. He received his dental degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 1982 and completed his specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in 1987.After returning to Sydney he was enrolled as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.Dr. Grossberg was president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists in 2003 and 2004. He is presently an Honorary Specialist Clinical Associate at the University of Sydney Dental Hospital and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He has several publications and has been an invited lecturer at conferences in Australia and overseas. Dr Kevin Todes Dr. Kevin Todes graduated with a BDS from the university of the Witwatersrand in 1988 in Johannesburg South Africa. He completed his speciality training in 1994 attaining his Master of Dentistry in the field of Periodontics and Oral Medicine.He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the special stream of Periodontics. Currently, Dr. Kevin Todes is in full time specialist private practice in Maquarie Street Sydney. His practice is restricted to the treatment of periodontal disease and implant dentistry.He has a special interest in the aesthetic and functional soft tissuemanagement of gingival recession and around dental implants. Dr Alex Kalos After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Dentistry (1st Class Honours) Dr. Kalos was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (General). Dr Kalos subsequently completed his specialist training in periodontics at the University of Sydney where he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He also holds a teaching position in the Faculty of Dentistry.
