**For English scroll down** ביום חמישי, 12 בפברואר 2015 בשעה 20:00 תפתח בגלריה שלוש תערוכת היחיד של האמן אורי גרשוני ׳מלבד חשיכה, כלום׳. בתערוכה ׳מלבד חשיכה, כלום׳, מצליב אורי גרשוני בין שלוש סדרות חדשות של צילומים, שהתהוו בעת שהות בגרמניה. הדימויים צולמו או נלקחו ממקורות שונים (מגרש מכוניות משומשות, אתרי מין, ארכיונים היסטוריים), אך מעל כולם מרחף איזה הלך-רוח טעון ביחס למקום. הסובייקט בעבודות מצוי במצב של כמיהה מתמדת שאינה באה על סיפוקה. גרשוני מזמין את הצופה בתערוכה לשוטט בעולם של דימויים הנדמים כרוחות רפאים ממקום ומזמן אחר, ובכך מעמת אותו עם תחושות ריק ובדידות קיומיים. במקביל לתערוכה זו בגלריה שלוש, ביום שלישי ה-10 בפברואר 2015, נפתחת תערוכת יחיד נוספת של אורי גרשוני במוזיאון ישראל בירושלים בשם: ׳אפולו ומנקה הארובות׳ (אוצר: נעם גל). שתי התערוכות מקיימות ביניהן דיאלוג של ריחוק וקירבה ושתיהן ממשיכות את המסע של גרשוני אל נבכי ההיסטוריה של הצילום ואל עברו הפרטי. אורי גרשוני יליד 1970, חי ועובד בתל אביב, הינו אחד הצלמים המוערכים והמעניינים הפועלים בישראל. בוגר תואר ראשון ושני במחלקה לצילום באקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב, בצלאל. זוכה פרס עידוד היצירה מטעם משרד התרבות והספורט (2012), פרס האמן הצעיר של משרד המדע, התרבות והספורט (2000) ופרס צלם צעיר מטעם מוזיאון חיפה לאמנות (2005). גרשוני הציג בתערוכות יחיד ובתערוכות קבוצתיות רבות בארץ ובעולם. תערוכת היחיד שלו ׳אפולו ומנקה הארובות׳ נפתחה במוזיאון ישראל נפתחת ביום שלישי ה-10 בפברואר 2015 (אוצר: נעם גל). ____ Uri Gershuni's solo exhibition "Nothing but Darkness" will open on Thursday, 12.02.15, 8:00 pm at Chelouche Gallery, Tel Aviv. In "Nothing but Darkness", Uri Gershuni will exhibit three intersecting new series of photographs taken during his recent stay in Germany. The images were taken from different locations and sources (used-car lot, sex websites, historical archives), yet all are imbued with a complex atmosphere towards the place itself. The subject in the works is situated in a constant state of unfulfilled craving. Gershuni invites the viewer to wander in a world of images resembling ghosts from a different time and place. Thus confronts the viewer with feelings of existential emptiness and loneliness. In parallel to this exhibition at Chelouche Gallery, Gershuni will be showing another solo exhibition at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, titled: "Apollo and the Chimney Sweeper" (Opening: February 10th 2015). The two exhibitions are expressing remoteness and closeness with each other, and are both continuing Gershuni's journey into the obscurity of the history of photography and into his own personal history. Uri Gershuni (born 1970, lives and works in Tel-Aviv, Israel) is one of the prominent and interesting photographers working in Israel today. Uri Gershuni holds a BFA and MFA from the Departments of Photography and Fine Arts, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Recipient of the Israel’s Minister of Culture ‘Art Encouragement’ Award (2012), the Young Artist Award, the Israeli Ministry of Science, Culture and Sport (2000) and the Young Photographer Award, Haifa Museum of Art (2005). Gershuni had solo exhibitions in Israel and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Israel and abroad. His solo exhibition at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, 'Apollo and the Chimney Sweeper' will open on February 10th 2015 (Curator: Noam Gal).
